Things aren’t getting any easier for Michelle Fowler when toyboy Preston returns from his trip to Manchester determined to put their relationship back on track.
Michelle’s biggest problem right now is Dennis, who saw her and Preston snogging and is blackmailing her to keep him quiet.
Problem is, she’s flat broke after her scorned husband cleared out their joint account and left her penniless.

Dennis takes the blackmail one step further next week when he puts Michelle on the spot in front of Louise, and the Mitchell lass is suspicious as to why Michelle’s giving into Dennis’s bad behaviour so easily.
As poor ‘Chelle reaches breaking point, Preston returns to put a spring back in her step with a series of romantic treats.
But Michelle’s just not in the mood and as the pressure mounts, she ends up taking her frustrations out on Preston.
After she snaps at him again, he heads off – straight back into her niece, Bex’s arms. Will it lead to more again?
Martin gives his sister some words of advice when he sees her looking down at the allotments – although he still doesn’t know exactly what he’s advising her on, and we reckon he’d be seriously unimpressed if he did!
She apologises to Preston, who once again professes his love and commitment to Michelle, and even books her a romantic dinner at an American restaurant to try to recreate some of their magic.

But there’s the small problem over what to do about Dennis.
Michelle insists he can’t be left on his own for the evening, but Preston twinkles his all-American smile and she eventually agrees.
They head out, but what will they find when they return home? Will Dennis have behaved himself? Not a chance!
As Michelle faces up to the fact she could be about to lose everything, will even Preston be enough to comfort her?
