EastEnders SPOILER: Max Branning’s revenge plot EXPOSED

Has daughter Lauren caught him out?

With Max Branning sauntering round Walford pretending he’s totally over his wrongful imprisonment, the other residents are blissfully unaware that he’s actually plotting revenge.

But his daughter Lauren isn’t so convinced her dad’s being straight down the line – she knows him too well!

He’s got form in keeping secrets and when he’s just that little bit too cagey with her line of questioning, she decides to do some digging.

Is Max about to get caught out?

Of course, we all know Max is planning something huge, but we don’t know exactly what.

He’s had a clandestine meeting at the top of the Shard with a mystery businessman, and Max assured ‘The Chairman’ he was ready to target The Vic.

Rumours have since abounded that newcomer Fi Browning (Lisa Faulkner) is somehow connected to Max and his businessman friend – could she be the final piece in the puzzle of Max’s plot?

Everyone seems to think Max is on the level at the moment, but Lauren has noticed he’s been leaving every day for work, very smartly dressed, yet has revealed nothing about his new job.

Meanwhile, Max himself wants to bond with his daughters again, and after a chat with Stacey, who encourages him to build bridges, he goes to visit Lauren.

She, in turn, urges Abi to have dinner with their dad, and as the three gather round the table, it looks like relations are starting to thaw.

But then Lauren starts asking him questions about where he’s working and her suspicions rise when he dodges answering anything she’s asking.

The canny Branning lass immediately realises her dad is hiding something again and vows to find out exactly what he’s up to.

The next day, she prepares to visit him at work and surprise him, so she can find out everything about his job.

What will she discover when she gets there? Will she find out the truth about Max’s revenge plan?

Or can Max cover his tracks enough to calm his daughter’s suspicions?

And if Lauren does find out, can she stop him before he does any more damage to the Square?
