Blimey, you wait for one old face to turn up and then another comes swiftly behind.
Last week EastEnders viewers were beside themselves with joy as part of the Jackson family were reunited with both Robbie and Sonia returning to Albert Square.
However, while Robbie seemed to be in his element to once again to be breathing in the east London smoggy air, Sonia arrived back from Kettering with a face like thunder.
Now we understood she wasn’t happy that no one had seemed to have noticed poor old Dot Branning had been left lying on her kitchen floor for hours after she had tripped over her cat.
And her grumpy face wasn’t helped when Ian and Sharon rocked up to the hospital hours later to see how Dot was doing and accused her of not trying hard enough to get her a hospital bed (cue heavy-handed right-on hospital funding conversation between the characters).
Clearly something is eating away at poor Son, and Robbie was brave/stupid enough to ask her what was wrong.
Frowning even more ferociously, Sonia grumbled that she wants to forget all about Kettering.
Her comment sparked fevered speculation that something terrible had happened in Kettering, which had forced her to return to, er, sunny Walford so suddenly.
One poster reckoned Sonia may have done something terrible during her stay in the town: “Think that Sonia killed someone in Kettering and is running away from her lies.”
While another just thought perhaps Sonia had got bored of the place.
Meanwhile, others took the opportunity to pour scorn on the town.
One Tweeter said: “Sonia was only in Kettering for about a month and she wants to forget all about it. Sounds about right,” while another sniped in response to her “sooner I forget about Kettering the better”: “That’s also what most of us born in Kettering think too.”

Earlier this year, viewers were both heartbroken and highly amused when Sonia landed a dream job in Kettering.
In various scenes Sonia dropped the word “Kettering” so many times people made hilarious montage video clips that went viral.
But now she’s back surrounded with intrigue.
So what could her secret be?

And how long will we have to wait before her past catches up with her?
