Eamonn Holmes makes bizarre claim about his “42-stone fan”

Eamonn told the funny story during Good Morning Britain

Presenter Eamonn Holmes has made a pretty hilarious confession about one of his fans during Good Morning Britain.

Eamonn, 57, told viewers and co-host Charlotte Hawkins that a 42-stone fan sat “spread-eagled” on his car and even left a dent on the bonnet.

Awkward.

Eamonn and Charlotte were talking to Melissa, a real-life Wonder Woman, who jumped onto her car bonnet as a burglar attempted to steal her car and drive off.

Her story obviously encouraged Eamonn to tell his hilarious tale.

He said: “I came out of function one day, this is true.

“And I had a woman spread-eagled across the bonnet of my car.

“That was fine expect she was 42-stone and there was a big dent in the bonnet.”

Charlotte said: “Oh dear. Was that one of your adoring fans?”

To which the This Morning host replied: “It took four men to lift her off the bonnet. It’s an absolute true story!”

One viewer cheekily wrote: “@EamonnHolmes admits he “had a woman spread eagled across the bonnet of his car” I always suspected @RuthieeL was adventurous. #GMB.”

“@EamonnHolmes I can’t see that @RuthieeL would be too impressed with you trying to jump on your car bonnet, specially with your hips,” another joked.

Eamonn is temporarily standing in for hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid this week as the original presenting duo enjoy some time off.

Eamonn has hosted the show with Charlotte Hawkins at the start of the week but will present the rest of the week alongisde Ranvir Singh.

Viewers are loving the Irish presenter with some urging for him to replace Piers, 52, permanently.

“Not a massive fan but Eamonn Holmes is so much better than Piers Morgan. #GMB,” one said.

Another wrote: “How to make @piersmorgan more likeable? Replace him with @EamonnHolmes. Ergh. @GMB.”

“Eamonn Homes. Can you please stay on GMB every day,” a third tweeted.

Another added: “No headache or turning over this morning thanks to Eamonn. Please stay.”
