Danny Dyer’s sabbatical a dream for EastEnders’ Adam Woodyatt, says report

He's said some pretty negative things

There’s nothing we love more than a celeb feud.

And when the two stars involved are cast members of one of our favourite soaps, it’s even more delicious.

According to new reports, Danny Dyer’s recent sabbatical from the show has been like a dream come true for one member of the EastEnders cast – stalwart, Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian Beale.

And crew members on the set are said to be relieved that Danny is away from set for a while as it means war is over for a while.

According to a report in the Daily Star, the pair have been at logger heads for some time.

It all started when Danny made a cheeky comment about the fact Ian Beale is the only character Woodyatt has played in 32 years!

“Adam has played one role,” he sniped. “He’s auditioned once in his whole career.”

He continued to rub salt into Adam’s wounds by bigging up his own film career, which includes Human Traffic, The Football Factory and, er, the dreadful Run For Your Wife.

“Out of every soap actor I’ve got the most experience,” the cockney lad boasted.

But one insider told the paper that Dan’s cheeky comments do ruffle people’s feathers on set.

“When he says things about fellow actors, it obviously has an effect on everyone. Adam’s loved by everyone.”

But is there any truth in these wicked rumours?

Well, no, according to an EastEnders spokeswoman.

“There is absolutely no truth in this. Danny is an extremely popular member of cast and respected by everyone on the show.”

Adam Woodyatt was also surprised by the Star’s imaginative story

“This is news to me considering Danny and I had a great chat before he went on his break,” he said. “As Danny would say, it’s pony.”
