Corrie fans think Sinead’s actually pregnant with ex Chesney’s baby

Factory worker has told new fella Daniel he's the father

Coronation Streets fans watched as Sinead Tinker dropped a baby bombshell on Friday – but who’s the daddy?

After being shocked to realise she could be pregnant, Sinead took a test to confirm her suspicions and shared the news with her Auntie Beth.

Sinead then planned to keep it to herself for now, but when her new boyfriend Daniel Osbourne found the test and confronted her, she was forced to come clean – especially when she realised that Daniel thought the baby’s father was her ex boyfriend Chesney Brown!

Well, it’s a fair enough assumption on his part, as the new couple seem to have only been together five minutes.

But Sinead (played by Katie McGlynn) was quick to reassure Daniel that the baby was definitely his. “I am a 100 per cent sure,” she said, explaining that she and Chesney hadn’t slept together in a while, as their relationship had been going through difficulties.

Viewers weren’t so sure, suggesting that Sinead could be fibbing and former flame Chesney (Sam Aston) might well be the daddy.

“It is definitely Chesney’s baby. I’m telling you now #Corrie” tweeted one viewer.

Another said: “I reckon it’s Chesney’s baby and Sinead is just covering herself #Corrie”

A third wrote: “I bet Sinead’s 100% WRONG lol #Corrie”

Not so out of the realms of possibility, as the two relationships did overlap, as knicker-stitcher Sinead had cheated on kebab shop manager Chesney.

And student Daniel (Rob Mallard) was a virgin before sharing that night of passion with Sinead in the factory stockroom.

While Daniel might have been satisfied with Sinead’s explanation, fans weren’t as convinced, and took to Twitter to share their suspicions.

But the issue of paternity might not matter anyway, as it is believed Sinead could be planning on having an abortion to terminate her unplanned pregnancy.

Actress Katie was spotted filming on location at a dental studio earlier this year, which was doubling for an abortion clinic.

We’ll have to keep tuning in to see what her character chooses to do.
