Next week sees Coronation Street’s Toyah Battersby tell boyfriend and potential baby-daddy, Peter Barlow, that she’ll hold off with their IVF plans.

Peter’s got his knickers in a knot about all the potential abuse charges stacking up against him – understandably – and asks Toyah to hold off the baby-making until his name is cleared.
Toyah assures her fella that she understands where he’s coming from and promises she’ll call the fertility clinic and explain.
But – it seems she’s not being totally honest with her beloved when she makes a shocking confession to Leanne later in the week.
While tenderly holding her baby nephew, Oliver, Toyah reveals a secret that is sure to leave Leanne – and viewers – stunned.
Toyah explains that she went along to the clinic and had the embryos implanted, despite Peter’s wishes that she wait.
So. Will Toyah end up pregnant from the IVF treatment? And what will Peter think when he discovers she’s gone against his wishes?
Could this spell the end for another Weatherfield couple?
Toyah and Peter were revealed as a secret couple at Christmas last year, when fans were debating who Peter’s mystery woman could be.
He was previously married to Toyah’s sister, Leanne, before they split because of his alcoholism.
Peter went on to marry Carla Connor, but left under a cloud after having an affair with Tina McIntyre and being accused of her murder.
