Coronation Street SPOILER: Michelle’s NEW plot to destroy Leanne

Her revenge is set to go up a gear

Corrie’s Michelle Connor is definitely a scorned woman at the moment, but as she continues on her path of revenge against those who have wronged her, Leanne’s the one who’s firmly in her sights.

Wanting to ensure she makes Leanne suffer even a fraction as much as she has, Michelle is set to make a move on Lee’s fiancé, Nick Tilsley, later this week – and then she takes things even further.

Tonight, after she found the photo of Steve and baby Oli on Steve’s cloud, Michelle knew she had a card to play. She sneakily texted the image to Nick, who lost the plot.

She’s got him exactly where she wants him now and on Friday she continues to pour poison in his ear about Leanne and Steve, and it’s not long before they’re back at her place, more than a little bit tipsy.

When Michelle leans in for a kiss, vulnerable Nick only goes and responds – after all, they’re the wronged parties in all of this.

Although we don’t know just how far their moment goes, we do know even just a kiss is enough to give Michelle the leverage she needs.

As Nick begs her not to tell Leanne what happened, ‘Chelle’s determined to make the new mum pay for having Steve’s baby.

She doesn’t even hear Nick out, she just tells him calmly that Leanne deserves to know the truth of what happened.

Nick’s fraught with worry as Michelle prepares to drop her bombshell on Leanne. But will she go through with it? Is Michelle really that cold?

With Nick set to depart soon, it was believed he would leave Leanne in the wake of all the trouble with Steve, but what if she finds out about this and kicks him out instead?

Will Nick be the one left with nothing? And can Michelle not see she’s pushing Steve and Leanne closer together in all of this?

Speaking to Digital Spy after her TRICs award win for Soap Personality, Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle, revealed Steve should “absolutely” watch his back:

“She’s getting her feistiness back,” Kym explained. “When she first came into the show – many years ago now – she was very feisty back then.

“She met and fell in love with Steve, and he’s over the years taken that away from her.”

We’ve certainly seen some of that fire in recent weeks, but how much further will she go before it’s enough?
