With Aidan Connor and Maria Connor’s affair back on in Coronation Street, it’s only a matter of time before his girlfriend, Eva Price, finds out.
Maria comes up with a plan to make herself feel less guilty about the whole thing next week, but will it backfire?
After setting Aidan up trying to get revenge on him for choosing Eva over her, Maria ended up falling back into his arms.

But Aidan’s made it clear he won’t ditch Eva and Maria will have to make do with being his bit on the side. Ouch.
She’s so desperate to be with him, she’s agreed to the illicit affair, but she still feels horrible about Eva.
So she should, quite frankly. Eva’s one of the few people who stood by Maria when she went to prison, and she even cared for Maria’s son, Liam, while Maria was inside.
And what’s Maria done to thank her? Sleep with her other half, that’s what.
Deciding she can’t cope with the guilt of what she’s doing to Eva, but also that she isn’t willing to give Aidan up, Maria comes up with a plan to ease her guilt.
She’s going to make Eva hate her so they aren’t mates anymore.
Her first step is to mouth off about Eva’s sister Leanne, and then she does an unflattering impersonation of Eva in front of the factory girls.
Eva eventually confronts Maria about why she’s doing all these mean things, and a row escalates.
The plan seems to have worked, but with Eva being such a nice person, will she end up forgiving Maria?
When Aidan then gives Maria a secret phone so they can be even more clandestine about their affair, it hits Maria hard what she’s doing.
