Big Brother trailer reveals new housemate details!

There will be a very broad mix of people this series

The trail for the new series of Big Brother has just been released, which means the 18th series is about to return to our screens with a bang!

And it looks like the show that boasts “everyone is welcome” is going to be inspired by the current political situation going on in the UK and Europe.

But we can also – as always –  expect to meet a variety of interesting characters who will entertain us including a newlywed who got married in SECRET! Hmmmm!

In the 20 second clip, images of various parts of the UK are flashed up on screen as several voice overs tell us: “From every corner of the land, to have-nots to have lots, from gamer to game-for-it… This is the United Kingdom of Big Brother – and everyone is welcome.”

The trail comes a week after the release of the new Big Brother eye which is comprised of various images that represent modern Britain.

Among the images on the eye, there’s polling station, a man in a kilt, a married couple, a man in kilt, a scone, cups of tea and the gates of Buckingham palace.

Channel 5 said: “This summer, Big Brother presents a must-watch culture clash of modern Britain.

“At a time of political upheaval and tough questions about unity in the UK, Big Brother brings you an alternative look at Britain.”

Big Brother has also promised that it will be “summer of contrasts, conflicts and collaboration… and more fireworks than you could imagine, as a selection of people, from a range of backgrounds, come together in the ultimate social experiment.”

So fights, fights and more fights.

From the trail it looks like we can expect lots of different types of individuals, including someone who has married in secret and someone who is heir to a country estate!

Last week our pal and former Big Brother finalist Andy West asked Rylan what the new series held in store for viewers.

Asked if the eye is it about Brexit, Ry replied: “I think BB does what BB does best.

“It looks around itself and goes, ‘What is every one talking about and let’s play this game’.

“People are talking politics and the election and the divide between the conservatives and the labour, the countryside, the city, the rich, the poor.

“It’s safe to say we have got a very varied cast of housemates from all of Britain’s walks of life.

“If you read the eye there is a sign that says “we are all immigrants.”

Interesting! Big Brother kicks off soon!
