Strictly fans delighted that Neil Jones appears much happier

Pro-dancer "perkier" after Seann Walsh exit

Strictly Come Dancing viewers noticed something different about Katya Jones’ husband Neil on last night’s show.

A week after the elimination of Seann Walsh, who was photographed kissing professional partner Katya by a tabloid newspaper, fans flooded social media to share their delight that Neil Jones appeared much happier.

The dancer, who, unlike his wife, isn’t paired up full-time with a celebrity on the series, was seen as usual alongside the contestants and fellow pros on Claudia Winkleman’s viewing platform.

And fans, who previously said Neil had a “face of thunder”, were convinced his new-found sunny demeanour was all because Seann was voted out last Sunday.

One tweeted: “Neil’s perked up now Sean’s gone.”

Another wrote: “Never seen Neil looks so happy.”

Later, Neil confirmed on Twitter that he had enjoyed last night’s show and praised “fellow ginger and little sis” Stacey Dooley, who is partnered with Kevin Clifton.

“I thought it was a great show tonight and I loved so many dances but I am Really proud of my fellow ginger and little sis,” he said.
