Shirley Ballas has already upset some Strictly Come Dancing viewers by criticising a celeb dancer’s appearance rather than his dancing.
She decided to target comedian Seann Walsh’s hair, as she discussed his Bodyguard-themed performance with Katya Jones.

Seann has longish curly locks and Shirley suggested he ought to tie in back, and just let it loose on the Latin numbers.
She finished her critique with the rather curt comment, “Tidy yourself up!”

It didn’t appear to go down too well with Seann who commented that he thought they were there to talk about the dancing.
And some people at home weren’t impressed either.

I hope Shirley criticises this new dancer for his hairstyle and overall unkempt look. If she said it Sean she has to be consistent otherwise she should be dropped from #strictly immediately

That was a bit rude coming from Shirley saying Seann needs to tidy himself up, it shouldn’t matter how his hair is, it makes no difference to how he dances, he took it well but if it was a male judge saying that to a female contestant, everyone would hate it #Strictly
