Strictly Come Dancing contestant Seann Walsh, now in the spotlight for ALL the wrong reasons, has turned up in sitcom Bad Move – and the irony wasn’t lost on viewers.
It’s been an, ahem, interesting week for the comedian… which was made that little bit more awkward last night (Wednesday 10 October) when ITV aired a comedy starring Seann as a sleazy rock star.
Just two hours after Seann appeared on Strictly: It Takes Two in a horribly cringeworthy interview with professional partner Katya Jones, he appeared as Grizzo in the aptly-named Bad Move.
You’d have to have been hiding under a rock not to know that Seann and Katya were photographed snogging each other last week – and their staged appearance on Zoe Ball’s It Takes Two was an exercise in damage limitation.
But fans aren’t that easily fooled, and they were quick to poke fun at the celebrity’s role in Bad Move.
Viewers joked that the ITV show, also starring Jack Dee, was mirroring real life.
One wrote: “The irony of Seann Walsh being a star of the series Bad Move.”
Another wrote: “Apt television scheduling right now. Seann Walsh in a Bad Move.”
A third went so far to say: “Seann Walsh is in Bad Move with Jack Dee. The bad move was having an affair with his strictly partner.”

Whether Seann can ever win back the public’s affection remains to be seen, but William Hill bookies suggest that the voters will show their disapproval at the weekend…
It’s 1/3 that Seann is in the bottom two, and he’s also the 11/8 favourite to get the boot.
