It’s not long before I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will finally return to our screens.

ITV confirmed on Monday that the brand new series, which will be hosted by Dec Donnelly and Holly Willoughby, will air on Sunday 18th November at 9pm.

Alongside a snap of a star lying on the jungle floor, the show’s official Instagram account wrote: “You’ve got a hot date… with some creepy crawlies.

“#ImACeleb is back. Starts Sunday 18th November live on @itv.”

Fans, of course, are thrilled by the news and are already counting down the days.

One person said: “Can’t wait, so excited!” while another commented: “Yessss I’m so excited!”

A third added: “OMG IM SO EXCITED!!!!”

Holly, 37, and Dec, 43, will be jetting out to Australia very soon to get ready for the new series.

It was announced in August that This Morning presenter Holly would be joining Dec Down Under.

She said in a statement at the time: “I couldn’t be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure. I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery.

“These are big shoes, not to fill, but just to keep warm for a little bit. Honestly, I’m a huge fan of I’m a Celebrity and actually feel like I’ve won a competition to go and hang out on my favourite show.

“When is it a good time to tell Dec I’m scared of everything that moves.”

Meanwhile, Dec said he’s “hugely grateful” that Holly agreed to join him on the show.

He gushed: “I am hugely grateful to Holly for agreeing to accompany me to Australia this year.

“She was at the top of my list and I’m thrilled she said yes. It will be a different kind of series but we will try our best to ensure it is no less fun and eventful for our loyal viewers.

“I am also pleased to hear Holly is scared of everything. I am almost stupidly excited at the thought of watching her during the eating trials.”

Mum-of-three Holly later admitted that there’s three things she’s not looking forward to in the jungle – the eating Bushtucker trial, the smells of the trials and when contestants come out of the trials with creepy crawlies all over them.

Holly also revealed her children – son Harry, nine, daughter Belle, seven, and four-year-old son Chester – will be coming with her, which means she’s been speaking to their schools about how that will work.

Last month, it was revealed that Joe Swash, Scarlett Moffatt and Joel Dommett would be returning as hosts of I’m A Celebrity’s spinoff show, Extra Camp.
