Amanda Holden on her Britain’s Got Talent future

Surely, she isn't getting itchy feet again?

Back in 2015, Amanda Holden shocked Britain’s Got Talent fans by hinting that she might quit the show the following year.

Thankfully, she made a U-turn and here we are in 2018 with the popular judge still opining on the acts gracing the ITV stage.

But can we expect to see her on the panel indefinitely?

Well, in a new interview, the Hampshire-born star, 47, revealed that she HAS considered her future again – so is she staying or is she going?

Signed up for the very first series of BGT back in 2007, Amanda has been on the show every year since.

And, despite revealing in 2015 that she’d “love to make it ten [years] and call it a day”, it sounds like she’s ready to go on and on…

She told the Daily Express Saturday Magazine: “I thought ten years sounded good, but I’m over that now!

“I’m going to spin it out for as long as I can. I appreciate my job – I’m really grateful.”

But it’s not just for her own gratification that Amanda wants to stay in the job – she also thinks it’ll benefit the show.

She explained: “I think the relationship between the judges works, and until that breaks there’s no point in changing it.”

Speaking of Britain’s Got Talent, it transpires that a Rolls-Royce once belonging to Simon Cowell has been converted – into a hearse!

Derbyshire-based funeral company A W Lymn had intended to use the Phantom VII as a passenger vehicle, but were unable to because of a hefty device in the rear of the car.

Managing director Matthew Lymn Rose told Derbyshire Live: “When I looked at this Rolls-Royce, it was clear that it would not be suitable as a funeral passenger vehicle due to the large champagne cooler in the back middle seat. It would, however, make an excellent chassis for a hearse.

“Once we collected the vehicle, the previous owner’s name on the log book was very familiar – and explained the cooler.

“As Mr Cowell’s car, it boasted split rear sumptuous electric seats, with TV screens, mood lighting, sheepskin over-rugs and a champagne cabinet.”
