This Morning viewers were absolutely gobsmacked today when Holly and Phil chatted to a woman who sleeps with ghosts.
It may sound bizarre to many of us, but Amethyst Realm ended her relationship after falling in love with a spirit.
Needless to say, both Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were absolutely fascinated.
They revealed Amethyst has had more than 15 ghost lovers over the years, after first falling in love with a spirit while her then-fiance was away a lot for business.

“It would have been around 12 years ago now,” she said.
“I started to feel a presence around the house. It never felt scary. It started as an energy then, as I got used to it, it became more physical. I started to feel pressure on my thighs, arms and back of the neck.
“It always felt safe.”
The first time she had sex with a ghost, Amethyst dressed in a sexy nightgown and went into her spare bedroom, where she turned the lights off and waited.
“I waited for a while and got a bit worried that maybe I’d scared it off by being too keen,” she said.
“But just as I’d given up hope and began to fall asleep it came to me.”
An enthralled Holly and Phil asked what happened next, prompting Amethyst to hesitate: “I don’t know what I can say on TV… we had sex.”
When pushed for details on how that could happen, she said: “You can still feel it. Like a weight. But at the same time it’s weightless. And there was an energy as well.”
Phil then asked if it was good for the ghost too, to which she said: “I hope so!”
It was revealed Amethyst’s partner came home from work a day earlier than expected and saw the shape of a man through the spare room window.
That baffled her as the ghost had never shown his form to her.
Eventually, the relationship fizzled out – though Phil seemed a bit baffled how a relationship with a ghost could go wrong, when you can’t argue over things like taking the bins out.
Phil asked if the ghost was seeing someone else – and Amethyst admitted she hadn’t considered that.
Since then, she’s had a string of over ghost lovers and said she knows it’s not just the same ghost each time as the energies are different.
She has no desire to return to dating human men, prompting Phil to quip: “Once you go ghost, you never go back!”
Amethyst then said she’d like to explore having a child with a ghost, once she finds one to spend her life with.
“Ideally I would like to find one to settle down with and spend the rest of my life with,” she said.
“I’ve done research into phantom pregnancies. There are case studies where people have done a bit of research. I’m trying to think how to explain it… there are possibilities for a ghost’s child in you, but people don’t know how to carry it on full time.”

Phil wrapped the chat by remarking: “We discuss all sorts of things here and this is a first!”
Viewers, meanwhile, just didn’t know what to make.
Many thought the whole idea was just crazy.
Others, however, embraced an “each to their own” attitude and felt it wasn’t harming anyone.
