Piers Morgan jumps down the throat of swearing GMB guest

Presenter wasn't impressed with 'continental' language used

Piers Morgan apologised to ITV viewers earlier today after a guest swore live on air during Good Morning Britain.

‘Age fluid’ Emile Ratelband, 69, is battling in the courts to be recognised as younger than he is because he feels like a 49-year-old.

The Dutch businessman made comparisons to transgender issues when making his case – although neither Piers nor co-host Susanna Reid took his comments seriously.

He argued he should be allowed to alter his date of birth if transgender people are permitted to identify as they wish.

“Times haven’t changed,” Piers scoffed as Emile claimed the world has moved on and attitudes have become more inclusive of those who may wish to tinker with their age.

“You can’t change the fact of the date when you were born!” an exasperated Susanna eventually blurted, raising the pitch of her voice.

But the presenters’ scepticism only seemed to fire up Emile.

And as the guest became increasingly high-spirited, he let some bad language slip from his lips.

Referencing sex change operations, he blustered: “If you are born as a beautiful small girl and now you’re as beautiful as you are now and you say ‘I feel like a man, I want to have a [blank].'”

Although momentarily stunned, both presenters quickly recovered with Susanna giggling at the outburst and Piers dishing out a ticking off.

“You can’t bring Holland over here, I’m afraid,” he scolded Emile.

“Bit more liberal [there],” Piers suggested as the entrepreneur explained the blunder away as due to him being “from the continent”.

An unimpressed Piers said to the cameras: “We’d like to apologise to everyone who was offended by Emile’s language.”

But did Piers really mean “language”, or did he mean “everything Emile has said”?
